Recently I read one of these predictive articles that industry pundits love to make. Usually they are the kind of article you can reread in five years and have a good laugh. The headline read iPad casts shadow on MacBook and of course I got sucked into reading it.
How many rings does it take to get to the juicy voicemail prompt on my iPhone?
Finally found out how to set the delay before calls go to voicemail. AT&T Customer Service had no idea when I called a few weeks back but a random guy with the handle dmapr - a Cell guru - on their web based support forum knew the answer.

The recent Supreme Court decision finally got me upset enough to blog again. Especially since I haven't seen anyone trying to talk about the validity of the decision. The press, and even the President can only seem to speak of the consequences of the decision, but the fundamental errors of judgement made by these so-called justices demand that someone speak out because the court itself has so lost sight of what they were sworn to protect.

The iPhone App I've been working on for some months has finally been released to Apple's App Store. It is a football game designed for armchair coaches who want to design their own plays. You can see it in iTunes by following this link.
My last iPhone post I said video and voice dialing were the only things missing from the iPhone. Well iPhone OS 3.0 and the 3Gs hardware are here and not only have those features been added, but a compass as well which perfectly rounds out the GPS function to allow driving assistance to truly work.
So far only AT&T offers an app which will do this and wants to charge an extra $9 a month for owning the app but I am hopeful the situation will improve.

Yet this is the inevitable result of the kind of mentality we have in the U.S. The kind of thinking that can get us into a pre-emptive war as revenge against a completely different enemy just because they are also arabic and muslim. The mindset that lets people be proud of being ignorant, while they drink way too many beers and cheer on for the home team.
